She focuses on developing winning marketing communication strategies in energy, healthcare, and the security industry using wireless and network technology. Kelly began her career as a chemical engineer at Texas Instruments and was one of the few female semiconductor process engineers there. She attended SMU Cox School of Business for her MBA and fell in love with marketing. She says she enjoys marketing technology products and services because she could utilize both sides of her brain to understand the science behind the technology and how it solves the customers’ problems as well as creatively on how to market the product. Her first marketing job was at Texas Instruments RFID Group, where she was part of a team to create an online sample store to make it easier for customers to purchase TI components and design it into their product.

Kelly eventually started her own marketing consulting firm, which eventually led to Forward Vision Marketing.
